Troubleshooting

If the My Links menu is not displayed after installation, please verify the following:
  • Your site is running SharePoint Standard or Enterprise. This control will not work with SharePoint Foundation.
  • The "My Links Menu" feature has been activated at the Site Collection level.
  • Make sure the User Profile service is listed as "started" in Central Admin->System Settings->Manage services on server.
